See Exceptional Epoxy Floor Past Work in Fort Myers, FL
A finished floor tells you things a sales pitch can’t. You can see how tight an edge was cut against a wall.
You can judge whether the color holds across the whole slab, not just a sample chip. You can compare a metallic finish in a showroom against a flake system in a garage, side by side. You can tell whether cracked, stained concrete was actually transformed, or just painted over.
This Past Work page shows real projects completed by Top Gun Garage, epoxy floor installers in Fort Myers, FL. The gallery spans residential, commercial, and industrial coatings across Southwest Florida, proof of how these systems hold up once they’re on a floor and not just on a spec sheet.

We had a great experience with Top Gun. I’m sure some of you can relate when making initial calls with service providers it can take forever to get a reply, but Top Gun responded within the hour to my initial inquiry and I had an appointment set quickly for someone to come to my house for a quote. All my questions were answered thoroughly and I even had questions after they left so I texted and got quick responses. On install day, they arrived on time and even helped me move our garage fridge into the house to get it out of the way. They performed their work and finished within the day. Once completed, they cleaned everything and left no finishing touch undone. My husband and I are very tidy and particular about our stuff so those finishing touches go a long way with us. As instructed, we let it sit for 3 days before moving heavy stuff in and absolutely love how it looks. We went with the Stonehenge color/pattern and it’s perfect for our home.
Epoxy Flooring Systems & Finish Options
Top Gun Garage works with a full range of coating systems and finishes so every client gets the right combination of look, texture, and long-term performance for their specific space.
Look Past the Shine
A glossy photo can make almost any new coating look impressive. The better question is what the finished project actually shows. Good past work should reveal consistency across the entire floor.
Edges should look deliberate. Transitions should make sense.
Decorative flakes should not appear sparse in one area and overloaded in another. Repairs should disappear into the finished surface as much as the system allows. Before and after epoxy flooring images can also show how much preparation happened before the decorative stage began.
An older slab may contain cracks, discoloration, previous coatings, surface wear, or patched areas. The finished image matters, but the starting condition gives the transformation proper context.
That is why Top Gun Garage project photography should show both sides whenever possible.
Before & After Photos Matter for a Reason
A polished final image only shows the last step.
Before photos help explain the work behind it. They can reveal damaged areas, old coatings, staining, pitting, cracks, surface wear, and uneven concrete. That gives potential clients a better understanding of how much change occurred during the project.
Preparation photos add even more value. Diamond grinding, repair work, edge preparation, and coating stages show the process between the two finished states.
The gap between a floor that lasts and one that fails early usually traces back to how well it was prepared. Installers repeatedly identify poor grinding and moisture problems as common causes of peeling.
A useful Past Work gallery should therefore show more than glamour shots. It should show evidence.
What to Look for in a Finished Floor
Property owners comparing installers can use completed projects as a screening tool.
Look for consistency first. The finish should look even from wall to wall. Flake systems should maintain a balanced broadcast. Solid color systems should avoid obvious patchiness. Metallic floors should have intentional movement rather than random-looking defects. Then inspect the edges.
Wall lines, corners, thresholds, drains, posts, and other interruptions usually expose the quality of the detail work. Also pay attention to project variety.
A company that only shows one type of garage floor may have less experience across patios, commercial spaces, industrial facilities, or decorative interiors.
Finally, look for work that appears in real properties instead of isolated sample boards.
Real installations provide far more useful proof.
Why Top Gun Garage Lets the Work Speak
Top Gun Garage installs flake systems, metallic epoxy, solid color coatings, polyaspartic systems, concrete staining, and grind-and-seal finishes.
That range gives potential clients a chance to compare several visual directions before choosing one.
Southwest Florida concrete does not arrive in identical condition. Older slabs, newer slabs, outdoor concrete, repaired surfaces, and moisture-prone areas all create different challenges.
Past projects show how those conditions were handled in actual spaces instead of theoretical examples.
Fifteen years of transferable warranty coverage stands behind the systems shown in this gallery.
Warranty language matters, but completed floors give clients another form of reassurance.
They can see the type of work the company is willing to put its name behind.
Lexie Harrison has owned and run this business herself since 2021, with no outside operator involved.
That means the finished work contributes directly to the company’s reputation across Fort Myers and Southwest Florida. Clients can read more about the company on the Top Gun Garage About page.

Past Work FAQs
What should I look for in before and after coating photos?
Compare edge work, repairs, flake consistency, sheen, transitions, and how the finished system handles the original slab condition. Before photos help show whether the project involved simple cosmetic improvement or substantial concrete correction.
Can good photos prove the floor was prepared correctly?
Not by themselves. Final photos show appearance, while preparation photos provide better evidence of grinding, repairs, and coating stages. Buyers should also ask how the slab was prepared and what system was installed.
Why do some finished epoxy floors peel even when they look good at first?
Poor preparation, moisture, contamination, or weak bonding can cause failure later. Peeling coatings can almost always be traced to grinding that didn’t go deep enough, or moisture nobody checked for.
Should I ask to see projects similar to my property?
Yes. A pool deck, warehouse, showroom, and garage all have different needs. Similar completed work gives you a better idea of how the installer handles the space you actually have.
Does a long warranty matter if the installer disappears later?
Not much. Buyers have reported frustration when installers became difficult to reach after coating failures, even with written warranties. Company accountability matters alongside warranty length.
See the Work Before You Decide
A coating company should not need you to imagine the result.
The proof should already exist in finished garages, patios, commercial spaces, facilities, and other concrete projects. Review the completed work. Compare the systems. Look closely at the details.
Then decide if Top Gun Garage is the right fit for your property.
